September Coffee & Triple Whammy Event
If you have been away, welcome back to Bangkok we hope everyone had a wonderful summer. This year September’s coffee will be combined with the Triple Whammy coffee to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer. So do come along and catch up with friends, share your summer stories over a cuppa and enjoy some gorgeous treats too. Tracey has kindly offered to host the coffee in her new home. It’s a wonderful spacious apartment.
The money raised will help Macmillan to make sure patients do not face cancer on their own. We will have information about voluntary work, guest speakers from various charities and fundraising.

Macmillan Cancer Support’s flagship fundraising event is the world’s
biggest Coffee Morning.
The first ever Macmillan Coffee Morning happened way back in 1991. It was a rather small affair with a simple idea, guests would gather over coffee and donate the cost of their cuppa to Macmillan. It was so effective that it was done year after year, with the whole nation getting involved.
Since then, Coffee Mornings have raised £190 million for Macmillan. Last year alone £29.5 million was raised and this year they hope to raise even more.
Numbers are limited so please book early.
Please remember that no bookings will be accepted after the RSVP date and that any cancellations or no shows after this date must be paid for in full.
Please note that in the event of over subscription priority will be given to BWG members and their house guests.
Place of Grace will continue to pick up any dry/tinned food for their emergency food bank at our monthly
coffee mornings e.g. tinned fish, fish sauce, mama noodles, rice, curry sauces, 3 in 1 packet drinks, coffee,
sugar, long life baby milk cartons and toiletries. Your support is much appreciated.
We would also appreciate if members could save soaps, toothbrushes and other items from hotels you
have visited on your holidays. All these items collected would be donated to Fatima Centre.
